Quoth the raven... "Nevermore"...

Nice bike huh?  Funny thing is that the guy on it is dead.  Yeah, in Puerto Rico they get a little carried away with their funerals.  Just thought I'd share.

So nothing in the news today really inspired me, plus I'm a little mentally washed out from spending the day trying to spin straw into gold.  (It's my cross to bear, trying to make things happen in real life that only really work in the minds of people who don't have a firm grasp of physics and engineering).  Today it just didn't work.  So the concept of death is front and center in my head.  Not mine, at least not today, but that of this particular work week.  Luckily it dies tomorrow.  Maybe I'll have more interesting things to put forth tomorrow.

To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day
To the last syllable of recorded time,
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death.  Out, out brief candle!
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more:  it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Ok, ok, too depressing, I know.  So I'll leave you all today with a nice picture of a really big freakin bunny.

  4. Brian, yeah, another weird picture of a guy standing in the corner. A much less professional job. This one looks cool. That would be a unique profession, we could make money doing this. Customized funerals. It would be a lot like Weekend at Bernie's... imagine a skydiving funeral. A falling corpse with a remote control chute.

    Jen, no worries, I'm gonna hold out for the giant comet. Something tells me it's coming and I'm not gonna off myself if I might risk missing that. :D

    I guess I'm gonna hold off on a fresh post today... too late to put up a new one. Subscribers will be reimbursed the equivalent of one day's rant in the form of the Soylent of your choice.

  5. BTW Jen, found the big rabbit just poking around Google images. Try searching odd combinations of words. You'll be amazed the weird shit you run across.
