Captain's Log, Saturday. Well, the place is starting to look about right. Still not what I'm thinking it'll be once I get to make some custom graphics to insert here and there, one thing I'd like to do again is make a "Council" list somewhere on the side like we had before. This time I can make it any number of people I want. By the way, there's no reason everybody can't have their own blog, it's super easy and we can link them all to each other. Eventually I'm going to set up another webpage for my artwork and link it here, I'm sure that would work as well for those of you with hobbies like photography, or maybe a family album. It's more free here than Facebook as well. Something to play around with if you have time to play. I think at the top of my main page there's something that says "create blog", go there and they walk you through it. Seriously easy, and if you have a question about the customizing just ask.
Ok I guess I'm gonna make my way out through the wasteland for some supplies. Gotta re-supply the rum locker! Later...
Looks nice!! I like the poll. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's entirely too hot today. 95 with no air conditioning really sucks!! I think I might have to set up sprinklers for the kids & maybe do some running through them myself.
Centipede, Tempest & Defender? I think I'm having flashbacks. :D
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed you on both posts, Jen... I was unusually busy today/tonight. I hope you dealt with the heat in a cool way. :D Yeah I guess I linked to some old games, I dig those games plus it's easy to find those old games reproduced online. Tempest was probably my favorite of those old ones. My friends played Defender and I played it too but the constant reversing was too annoying for me. I liked playing it briefly yesterday though. Centipede was a game I liked, it was always a new action to be made, unlike Defender which was a LOT of reversing one's position to shoot at enemies.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite arcade game was Galaga. I played a lot of Tempest & Ms. Pacman, too. Never played much defender, cuz there were just too many buttons. There was an awesome arcade at the mall when I was a kid. I used to get completely baked & spend hours there.
ReplyDeleteNice poll bro!
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been awesome here in New England. I just got back from Boston. Walked all over; great exercise. By the way, I will mail you some pictures of our law firm Bro.
I feel bad for you in that heat Jen! The heat just makes me crazy. So much so that they could just haul me away...To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be
happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!
Just got back from the water park. It was another 95 degree day, so it seemed like a good idea. Kids had a blast & I had fun too, when I wasn't panicked because one of them had wandered off somewhere. Now I'm completely exhausted & starving. Gonna go make something to eat.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun Jen... It would be nice to be a kid again and enjoy a day at the water park without any responsibility for anything. Well, you got me sucked into Galaga for about 20 minutes earlier. I remember playing it a few times back in the day but it wasn't one they had in the college rec room so it wasn't one of the classics for me. I would definitely have wasted some coin on it though if it had been there.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm out for the night. Nice weekend! :D
